Finally in this piece, we will see back Sol again as lead dancer of the piece. “El llac de les mosques”, will be, as Sol describes, an accompanied solo. Where she is very well accompanied... by a rock’s and roll band, a male dancer and a stagehand-actor. Once again Sol presents a work on her personal movement, her gestuality, her relationship with the public and with the performing space. Now is the time to compose all this new material and to give a new direction to her performing activity.

The show poses in the format of a table, an ever present question nowadays, tha lack of water.
Sirena a la plancha is a great outdorr dance/theater show. A 8 metre mobile mermaid, a 8 metre puppet ans a stage composed of five mobile platforms make up a show wich the audience share the same space as these scenography.

Performance
The Doñas is a performance piece in which three women interact. Sol Picó
performs, plastic arts are by Elvira Granados and the live music by Dj Cee Mari
Posa. It is a unique project, that is to say one that is an open-ended proposal.
Every time that it is performed the result will be different. The painting and
the dance are combined in a semi-improvised way to show us conflict, shock,
confrontation…

The flexibility of the scenography enables its representation in middle and large scale theatres. In the form of a comic and with a good dose of surrealism this is the story of a diva who comes from up high and on her way comes down in the world. She is suffocated in her own divaism, full of solitude, desperately trying to find a way down to the real world with people who understand her, but instead she finds a cruel world, full of incommunication, of strange people who manipulate her, envelop her, wear her out and try to make her insane. |

Four essential ingredients make out Paella Mixta, they are these four characters, a curious mix between some kind of monks that came out of some strange order and funny characters that seem to come from a comic book, they make us part of their own rituals, and they transmit us the strong presence of the world that surrounds them…a noisy world, unstoppable and too fast, that runs in front of our eyes, angry and restless. A world that like them sometimes is seductive and others combative, but that at the same time it is our world. |

2002, 50´ duration, outdoor, three ballerinas and three diggers. A great love story of three women who coming back home from a party at any night, ending up by being victims of a shameless Stockholm Syndrome. A surrealistic story – as all stories – in which actually no one exists. |
